Request deletion without signing in
Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete WPNoti account” and identify the account email address. If helpful, include a connected store URL. You do not need to give a reason, send a password or provide payment-card details.
Use the account email address if you can. If you no longer have access to it, explain that in your request. We may use proportionate verification to protect your account, including an alternative verification method where necessary. We use the request information to verify, handle and document the request, subject to the retention limits in our Privacy Policy.
Delete it yourself
- iOS or Android: open WPNoti → Settings → Profile → Delete account, then confirm.
- Website: sign in at app.wpnoti.com and open Account settings → Delete account, then confirm.
The labels above match the current app and website source.
Check your subscription before deleting
Apple and Google subscriptions are not automatically cancelled when you delete WPNoti. To stop future store charges, cancel through the account that purchased the subscription:
- Manage Apple subscriptions.
- Manage Google Play subscriptions, then select WPNoti.
You can proceed with account deletion even if a subscription issue still needs to be resolved. Contact us if you need help. Removing the app alone does not cancel a subscription or delete your account.
If you are the last member and your workspace is billed on the website through Stripe, closing the workspace cancels that subscription in the same request. It does not renew, and a trial does not become a paid charge. Leaving a workspace that still has members does not cancel that workspace’s plan.
Deletion ends your access immediately when completed. It does not normally entitle you to a refund for an unused part of the current period. Your statutory withdrawal rights, rights concerning a faulty service and any other refund rights remain unaffected; see our Terms of Service.
What we delete
Your individual account
We remove the account’s sign-in record, authentication factors, workspace memberships, registered push devices and personal notification preferences, subject to the limited retention exceptions below.
If other members still use a workspace, its stores, subscription and necessary shared business records remain available to them. This can include workspace support discussions. We assess whether your personal details in shared records can be removed or de-identified while preserving information the remaining workspace legitimately needs. Contact us if a particular record concerns you.
If you own a shared workspace, arrange any necessary administration transfer before leaving. Contact support if you want to close the whole workspace or cannot transfer administration. We verify authority before deleting records belonging to other users or an organisation; this does not prevent deletion of your own account.
When the last workspace member deletes their account
We also close the workspace and remove its connected-store records and encrypted credentials, mirrored order summaries, notification history and form previews, notification preferences, store-check and incident history, vulnerability reports, workspace billing settings and subscription-validation records, and workspace support threads and replies, subject to the exceptions below. Support threads for that workspace are deleted in the same request. Messages on a thread are removed with the thread.
What may remain, and for how long
| Information | Reason and period |
|---|---|
| Required VAT invoices and related evidence | Lithuanian tax obligations: 10 years from invoice issue. This does not require retaining the entire account or store database. Other mandatory accounting records follow their applicable statutory periods. |
| Necessary internal operator audit records | Up to 730 days from the event where still needed for security/accountability; a specific justified legal hold may extend retention. |
| Specific complaint, refund or legal-claim evidence | Only what is necessary for the unresolved matter and the applicable legal requirement or claim period, with restricted use and review. We explain a relevant exception when responding to your request. |
| Restricted backup copies | Hostinger file backups in France, for the retention period of the Hostinger plan. The Supabase database has no backups on the current free plan. A restored copy is not used for ordinary operations, and deletion is applied again after a restore. |
| Necessary records of a workspace still used by other members | For the relevant workspace purpose and retention period described in the Privacy Policy; your departure is not a reason to retain unnecessary personal information indefinitely. |
Our service providers must carry out relevant deletion instructions subject to applicable law. Apple, Google, Stripe and other independent controllers may retain records they control under their own notices and legal obligations. Deleting WPNoti does not delete your Apple, Google or payment-provider account.
Your WooCommerce store and devices
Deletion does not delete or change the underlying orders, customers, products, coupons or form submissions on your WordPress/WooCommerce site. Remove those there if appropriate and lawful. Disconnect or uninstall the plugin if you no longer intend to use WPNoti; uninstalling the plugin is a separate action.
The mobile app’s account-deletion routine clears its local product database and signs you out on that device. Deletion from the website or another device does not necessarily immediately remove an offline device’s cache. Clear app data or remove the app on devices you no longer use. Screenshots, downloaded copies and information independently held by other authorised users are not automatically recalled.
Timing and confirmation
Self-service deletion starts when you confirm. The account is closed in that request, and a workspace with no remaining members is removed in the same request, including its support threads. A website subscription on that workspace is cancelled so it does not renew and a trial does not convert to a paid charge. We reply to an emailed deletion or personal-data request within one month of receipt, explaining what was deleted and any justified retention. Where the law permits an extension because of complexity or the number of requests, we will explain it within that first month. The extension cannot exceed two further months. That month is the deadline for the reply, not a reason to delay a straightforward deletion. Hostinger file backups follow that plan’s retention period.
Deleted workspace data cannot normally be restored. A later registration creates a new account and does not recover your deleted store connections or history.
For other data-rights requests, contact [email protected]. If the information concerns your purchases from a connected shop rather than a WPNoti account, normally contact that shop’s operator first. See our Privacy Policy for your rights and complaint options.
